I’m a senior, live on a fixed income, get rental assistance, use a landline phone, and wonder if I qualify for this service? Due to the volume of questions we get on a daily basis, we cannot respond personally to each reader. The simplest way to find out what services are available in your area is to visit EveryoneOn.org and plug in your address.

If they profess ignorance, which is a complaint many of our readers have about AT&T customer service, let us know and we’ll give you another option. None of the low-income internet plans include cable TV, Willie. Sorry, Brian, but NONE of the low-income internet plans include basic cable. We are NOT AT&T, so you’ll need to contact the company’s customer service team or go online and do a search on its site. I think it’s a blessing for folks who can’t afford it are able to access internett, cause their kids would really benefit from it.
Check them all out, then enroll with the one that fits your needs best. I qualify for AT&T’s low income internet, but being a senior and spending much time at home, I would also like cable tv. Will At&t let me have the low cost internet and an affordable cable package? They usually give you that “You have to buy the bundle” to get a break.
Through April 30, 2022, AT&T is waiving data overage fees for those Access AT&T customers. The main thing to remember is that the monthly subsidy will decrease from the EBB program’s $50 maximum to up to $30 under the ACP on March 1 . Services provided by AT&T or an authorized provider.

Although I’d be definitely qualified for this service, I have previously owned some money to ATT. Would that hinder me from getting this awesome services? If so, how can I remedy this situation? Does Charlotte North Carolina qualify for access program.
We don’t know if any of them are available in your specific rural area, but you need to check them all out carefully to see if you can find one that fits your needs. I think I need to find a plan i n my area that does discounted hardwire internet or maybe uses different towers than Sprint/t-mobile. We list all the towns/states in which each plan is available. The United States has 322 million people and nearly 2/3 of them live in those states. Eight of the top ten states in population are included .

Don’t know what more we could have done, Kelly. We said early in the article that AT&T covers 21 states and we list all 21 states PLUS most of the cities and towns covered by the AT&T network. We really get annoyed when our readers tell us that AT&T reps have told them they know nothing about this program.
So for all of those out there that apply if you don’t get a response back in 3 to 5 days call the number listed in the info on this site. You will talk to a live person that speaks English, you will start the process of getting the service and answering many questions. I was on the phone for 56 minutes after being disconnected once and having to start over with another person. I will update after I receive the equipment and perform the install. Living in a rural area is a big problem for many folks who would otherwise be eligible for these low-income internet plans.

Use the contact info we provided to give them a call. We provide the company’s contact info right here on this page, Christin. We are unaware of any plan to end Access, Edward. We think you’re getting Access confused with the EBB program, which ended on March 1. I worry that should there be an emergency in the home, he will not be able to hear if he calls for help. I recently posted a comment about ATT MISLEADING customers about their access low income service and you told me to speak to,one of their representatives. Does no good q they are the ones giving out wrong info along with the applications. ATT is a corrupt and greedy company.
